The Coulombe Laboratory at the University of Michigan is thrilled to announce the arrival of Kelly Young, MD, PhD, who joins the team as a postdoctoral fellow.

Dr. Young brings a powerful combination of clinical insight and translational science to the lab. In addition to her new research role, she continues her clinical training as a resident physician in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Michigan Medical School.

Dr. Young completed both her medical degree and PhD at the University of Michigan, building a research portfolio focused on complex dermatologic and autoimmune mechanisms. Her dual background as a physician-scientist positions her perfectly to bridge bench-to-bedside research, applying foundational laboratory insights directly to human disease.

Please join us in giving Dr. Kelly Young a warm welcome as she begins this next chapter of her research and clinical journey with us!
