The award is given for excellence in service, mentorship, research or collaboration in the East Baltimore community. Reverend Tuggle particularly values work that demonstrates compassion for the East Baltimore community, and is performed in that community. Stefan won the award for his work addressing the health disparities at Baltimore’s Charm City Clinic, where he was as a co-director of fundraising and a case manager. Additionally, Stefan served as a mentor and team leader at Thread since 2014, an organization that engages under-performing high school students confronting significant barriers outside of the classroom. Congratulations, Stefan!
